Xugao Wang

Spatial analysis of temperate forests

Xugao is associate professor at the Shenyang Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and currently a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University and the Center for Tropical Forest Science at Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (3. 2010 – 2. 2011). He is interested in the underlying processes and mechanisms that control spatial structures and dynamics of the tree species in temperate forests. Xugao’s current research focuses on the ecology of temperate forests in Northeastern China. See e.g., Wang et al. (2010).
